  If you are planning on leasing a house property from Joiner, make sure you thoroughly inspect what you are getting into. The property I rented was not well maintained from the start. Everything was outdated, countertops were coming apart, even the drywall was scoffed and scarred. I was charged for past damages to various things around the house for a severance fee triple the price of the total monthly rent. They also outsource their payment authorization systems, and are horrible at communicating with their lessees. They will happily charge you with as many late fees as possible even though you submit your payments online, on time. I guarantee I will not be leasing with Joiner again, unless I am on their side of the deposits.

  Absolutely wonderful group of people. They restore hope within the industry. Tip Whately was THE most communicative, prompt and attentive agent I've ever dealt with. Chris and Patrick were super helpful and resourceful as well. Strive for the best and you'll become it. Good job guys.

  After experiencing various degrees of frustration with other property managers, Joiner & Associates were like an answered prayer. All of their properties are very nice and the staff is second to none. They made our stay a breeze as they were quick and thorough in their response to any issues that we had. I cannot say enough nice things about them. If you're looking for a place in Athens, save yourself a headache and start with J&A.
